What happens in a lesson?

Lessons can take many formats, depending on your individual needs.

I will work with questioning, talking and with gentle hands on contact to encourage a new awareness. This hands on contact is non-invasive and non-manipulative and lessons are carried out fully clothed.

We may work with simple everyday activities such as sitting and standing or with activities which are more specific to your life, for example running, singing, knitting, dancing or reading.

We may also work lying down on an Alexander Technique table to encourage you to let go of tension and habit.

With this new awareness of how you think and move you can gain efficient and effective use of your body.
