What happens at a lesson?
Alexander Technique lessons can take many formats, depending on your individual needs.
I always begin by finding out a bit about you and why you are coming for lessons.
We work together with simple everyday movements to encourage a new awareness and new ways of moving and thinking. We will do this with talking, questioning and use of gentle hands on to encourage new ways of thinking.
We will also work with activities which are more specific to your life, for example running, singing, knitting, working at a computer, dancing or reading.
